From the outside, it might look as if you're coping.

You go to work, look after everyone else, keep smiling and carry on.

But inside, your mind never stops.

You replay conversations, overthink decisions, worry about the future and feel constantly on edge. You've lost confidence in yourself, struggle to switch off and feel as though anxiety is  defining your life.

Maybe you've tried breathing exercises, mindfulness, counselling or medication. They may have helped for a while, but you've found yourself falling back into the same thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

Because anxiety is the symptom, not the cause.

It's your mind and nervous system responding to experiences that taught you the world wasn't always safe or predictable.

I help you understand what's really causing your anxiety, so you can finally change the patterns behind it—not just learn to cope with the symptoms.

A structured way to break free from anxiety 

Most approaches focus on helping you manage symptoms.

But I don't believe that you need more coping strategies.

I believe that you need to understand what's triggering your anxiety and why it keeps happening, so that you can change the patterns behind it and learn how to respond differently to your thoughts and emotions.

My Freedom From Anxiety Six Session Programme is designed to help you understand the root cause of your anxiety and create a new relationship with yourself.

Together we'll explore what's really happening beneath the surface, calm your nervous system and work to change the beliefs and patterns that are holding you back.

This isn't about endlessly revisiting your past, that won't help. It's about understanding how it defined you, so it no longer has the power to control you.

I'm Christine Maragkakis, a Trauma Certified Anxiety Coach based in Essex, supporting people both online and in person.

For more than 25 years, I've helped people overcome anxiety, overwhelm and low confidence by addressing the root causes rather than endlessly trying to manage the symptoms.

My work combines Trauma-certified Coaching with evidence-based approaches, including Mindfulness, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Clinical Hypnotherapy, where appropriate.

 

Each technique we use is chosen because it suits you and your needs—not because it's part of a "standard formula."

With me, you'll find a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly, without judgement, feel understood and work towards a life without anxiety in a way that's right for you.
